The Pinedale Wranglers won against the Lander Valley Tigers on Saturday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Pinedale walked away with a 55-46 win over Lander Valley. The victory was nothing new for Pinedale as they're now sitting on six straight.
Elyn Bowers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 19 or more in the last seven games she's played. Erica Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
Pinedale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Lander Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinedale's road trip will continue as they head out to face Big Piney at 5:30 p.m. on February 15th. Pinedale knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matches -- so hopefully Big Piney likes a good challenge. As for Lander Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Jackson Hole at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lander Valley is facing Jackson Hole at the right time seeing as Jackson Hole is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
