For the first time this season, Vallivue will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Nampa Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vallivue is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
While Vallivue's win against Minico wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Vallivue skirted past Minico 10-8. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The team relied heavily on Colt Augustus, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 4-for-4. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Clay Cope, who scored two runs and stole two bases.
Augustus wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Vallivue kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, while it was Nampa who put the first points on the board on Tuesday, it was Columbia who put up more. Nampa fell just short of Columbia by a score of 5-4. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.
Nampa saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kai Sena, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Sena also got a hit, marking his first of the season.
Vallivue's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Nampa, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
Both Vallivue and Nampa just can't seem to miss. Vallivue has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9 hits per game. However, it's not like Nampa struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Vallivue beat Nampa 10-5 when the teams last played back in May of 2022. Will Vallivue repeat their success, or does Nampa has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
