Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Tioga Bulldogs walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Eagles 64-14 on the road. Considering Tioga has won six matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Hayden Hilliard, who threw for 333 yards and five touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Austin Norwood, who picked up 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
When it comes to explaining why Valley Mills lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brady Woodrome. Despite the final result, he picked up 145 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The victory (which was Tioga's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points per game. As for Valley Mills, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Tioga will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Marlin at 1:00 p.m. on November 24th. Marlin is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games. Valley Mills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
