Rogers had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt St. Michael-Albertville on Thursday. The Royals were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Knights. Considering the Royals have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Rogers is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for St. Michael-Albertville, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
