Everything went their way against the Alma Center Lincoln Hornets on Friday as they made off with a 17-4 win. Kelsie Klomsten spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Addison Poeschel was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
