Asher Maxwell Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Dayton's Asher Maxwell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Maxwell rushed for 206 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run.
Dayton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Maxwell and Dayton will look to defend their home field on Friday against Santiam Christian at 7:00 p.m.

Ezra James's big game helped extend Taft's winning streak to four on Friday. Nobody could stop James as he threw for 268 yards and five touchdowns while completing 95% of his passes.
