Meanwhile, Putnam was the victim of a tough 56-32 defeat at the hands of Lyman Memorial on Friday. Putnam has not had much luck with Lyman Memorial recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Harvard Ellis Tech has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Putnam, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16.
Harvard Ellis Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Putnam in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 29-24 victory.
