It was a good run, but Ore City unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Harleton Wildcats, falling 10-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rebels have suffered since May 10, 2024.

Ore City's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 11-3. As for Harleton, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

While Ore City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
