Goshen extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Grant Taylor. The Eagles claimed a resounding 51-7 victory over the Pike Liberal Arts Patriots for which the team can thank Taylor, who threw for 143 yards and two TDs on only eight passes, and also rushed for 108 yards on only seven carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Goshen didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of JaDarius Burney and JT Beck. Beck got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Goshen's record now sits at 6-1. As for Pike Liberal Arts, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Goshen will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Luverne at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Pike Liberal Arts, they will take on Highland Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Flying Squadron's rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.88 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
