Football Recap: Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan Piles Up the Points Against Baltic

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan). They blew past the Baltic Bulldogs, posting a 38-8 victory. The Seahawks haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Jackson Goehring and Ben Erickson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Goehring rushed for 116 yards and one TD on only 15 carries, while Erickson picked up 106 receiving yards. Erickson's longest reception was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Baltic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan and Baltic will both be playing McCook Central/Montrose the next time they take the field. The Seahawks will head out to face the Fighting Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
