The Edon Bombers won the last time they faced the Hamilton Marines, and things went their way on Monday too. The stars were shining brightly for Edon in a 46-30 win over Hamilton. That 46-30 margin sets a new team best for Edon this season.
Hamilton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zane Ritter, who scored five points. Ritter set a new season high mark in steals with two. Another player making a difference was Dylan Holiday, who scored five points along with eight rebounds.
Edon's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Hamilton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edon won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Eastside at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Hamilton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Garrett at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
