The Hardee Wildcats suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They were dealt a 82-43 defeat at the hands of Frostproof. Hardee has struggled against Frostproof recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Sevastian Rosado continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Frostproof, scoring 36 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Rosado has scored at least a third of Frostproof's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daiveon Pittman, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Hardee's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Frostproof, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hardee will square off against Fort Meade at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Meade knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Hardee likes a good challenge. As for Frostproof, they will head out on the road to face off against Lakeland Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lakeland Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Tuesday.
