Downers Grove North had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the York Dukes with a sharp 9-2 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by seven runs or more this season.

Downers Grove North's win bumped their record up to 20-14. As for York, their loss dropped their record down to 21-13.

Downers Grove North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Marist on the 6th. York does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
