The Inland Lakes Bulldogs can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 87-52 win over Mackinaw City. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Inland Lakes had established a 27 point advantage.
Inland Lakes got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Connor Wallace out in front who almost dropped a triple-double on 26 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists. Wallace hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Sam Schoonmaker, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Inland Lakes has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Mackinaw City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inland Lakes will square off against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Forest Area is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Mackinaw City, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
