Kaden Diggs made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit (and only one walk). What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Five bases. while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Graeme Douglas was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Landon Morgan, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.
Fairfield Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
