The Clare Pioneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Reed City Coyotes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clare will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Coyotes are ranked 110th).
Last Thursday, Clare came up short against the Flying G's and fell 62-53.
Meanwhile, Reed City came tearing into Friday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Tri County Area 66-41. Reed City has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Clare's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Reed City, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2.
