Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Golden Gate Titans walked away with it. In a tight  contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a  44-43 victory over the Golden Eagles. That's another feather in the cap for Golden Gate, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Golden Gate's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Garvens Jeunegens led the charge by  almost  dropping  a double-double on nine points and 14  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sam Powell, who  scored 13 points along with six  rebounds and three  steals.
 Golden Gate is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight games,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-14 record  this season. As for Naples, they now  have a losing record at 12-13.
 Golden Gate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match, a  66-58  defeat vs. Barron Collier on the 10th. Naples does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
