Eminence dropped down to 19-14-1 on Monday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Ellington Whippets by a score of  3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Whippets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  back in August.
 Kari Jordan paced Eminence's offense, picking up 14 kills. Jordan got some help from  Bryleigh Brawley and her 17 assists.  Ryleigh Ramsey controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
As for Ellington, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 22 of their last 23 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-4-1 record  this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory they have posted  since October 4th.
 Ellington found their leader in sophomore  Lindsay Gore, who  had 11  digs and one  assist.
As of now, neither Eminence nor the Whippets have any future games scheduled.
