North Lamar won the last time they faced Rains and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant North Lamar was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-9.

Alexa Lane paced North Lamar's offense, picking up five kills. Lane got some help from Myla Geeslin and her nine assists. Ella Nelson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

North Lamar has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Rains, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

North Lamar has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Prairiland on the 16th. As for Rains, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Sulphur Bluff on the 16th.
