The Harris County Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They fell to Northgate  63-58. While losing is never fun, Harris County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 454th, while Northgate is ranked 155th).
 When it comes to explaining why Harris County lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Cameron Phillips. Despite the final result, he  scored 23 points along with nine  rebounds and three  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Phillips has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ethan Garrett, who  scored eight points.
 Harris County has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost nine of their last ten matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Northgate, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
 Harris County won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Drew at 7:30  p.m.  on January 19th. As for Northgate, they will be playing at home against Creekside at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Creekside is hoping to put an end to  a six-game streak of away losses.
