Lincoln hasn't had much luck against Bravo recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Monday, Lincoln came up short against Eagle Rock and fell 3-1.
The final score came out to 25-16, 21-25, 25-11, 25-14.
Despite the defeat, Lincoln saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jessie Valencia had 19 digs and one assist.
Meanwhile, Bravo didn't have quite enough to beat Marshall on Monday and fell 3-2. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Barristers 25-18 in the first set.
Bravo actually scored more points across those five sets (107-105), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-13.
Bravo's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-17.
Lincoln beat Bravo 3-1 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
