Jordan's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Skyline on Friday. The Beetdiggers put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 14-4 victory. Considering the Beetdiggers have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jordan let CJ SUMNER and GAGE NALDER run wild. SUMNER scored a run while going 2-for-3, while NALDER scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was NOAH GATTI, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Jordan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Skyline only posted an OBP of .269.
