Abundant Life extended the longest winning streak in Great 8 (8 Man) this week by beating Stockbridge, 62-30. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Challengers.
Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran took down Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 60-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Abundant Life's Alex Pien and Dylan Rockwell have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pien has thrown for 883 yards this season, while Rockwell, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 23 catches for 523 yards. Wayland Academy's Blake Neuman leads the league in rushing yards with 926.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Mark Martinez's team and the Resorters. The Challengers enters the game ranked third in the state, while Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah ranks ninth.
The Big Red's Neuman needs only 74 yards against Stockbridge next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
Abundant Life led Great 8 (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on Stockbridge.
