Among those leading the charge was Rehana Matthew, who scored 26 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Paulina Tom, who scored six points.
Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Akiachak, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Akiachak will square off against Tuluksak at TBD on Friday. Tuluksak comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
