The Mogadore Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Crestwood Red Devils at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Mogadore focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Wednesday.
Even though Mogadore has not done well against Southeast recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way. Mogadore secured a 37-33 W over Southeast. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mogadore.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mogadore to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Kidd, who scored three points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Mcintyre, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Crestwood entered their tilt with Kirtland with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Crestwood managed a 36-32 victory over Kirtland on Wednesday.
Mogadore's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Crestwood, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.
Mogadore was able to grind out a solid win over Crestwood when the teams last played back in December of 2022, winning 47-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mogadore since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
