Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Hills). They breezed by the Trimble Tech Bulldogs to the tune of 71-36 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Scorpions have posted since January 2nd.

Ra?Monce Spriggins was a one-man wrecking crew for South Hills as he went 9 of 17 en route to 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Sims, who posted nine points and three steals.

South Hills' win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13. As for Trimble Tech, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-16.

South Hills and Colleyville Heritage will round out the year against one another at at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. South Hills has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Trimble Tech, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jefferson at 11:30 a.m. on December 30th.
