Whitmer is a perfect 3-0 against Ross since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will challenge the Little Giants at 5:00 p.m.

Olentangy Liberty hit Whitmer with a five-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers lost 12-2 to the Patriots. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Whitmer saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raegan Lapoint, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ross). They blew past Fostoria 23-2 on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory got Ross back to even at 5-5. As for Whitmer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Everything went Whitmer's way against Ross in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Whitmer made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
