There's no place like home for Notus, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 75-39 victory over the Centennial Baptist Mustangs. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

Leading Notus to victory were Benny Guevara and Derrick Huter. Guevara went 6 of 12 en route to 16 points along with seven steals and five assists, while Huter almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine steals. Huter continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Luis Vargas, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 14 points and eight boards.

Notus' win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Centennial Baptist, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Notus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-32 victory against North Star on the 24th. As for Centennial Baptist, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-45 loss against Wilder on the 24th.
