Calvert and St. Mary Central Catholic are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Calvert Senecas will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Calvert focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.

Rombach also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Brown, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to St. Mary Central Catholic, who are still winless after their 14th match. They had to suffer through a rough 45-12 loss at the hands of Old Fort. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Mary Central Catholic has scored all season.
The win got Calvert back to even at 7-7. As for St. Mary Central Catholic, their loss was their 19th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-14.
Everything came up roses for Calvert against St. Mary Central Catholic when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 52-24 victory. Will Calvert repeat their success, or does St. Mary Central Catholic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
