Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Teton Timberwolves, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were dealt a 63-27 defeat at the hands of Sugar-Salem on Saturday. Teton's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
When it comes to explaining why Teton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jack Joyce. Despite the final result, he rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. Joyce is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played. Jack Nelson was another key contributor, throwing for 96 yards and two touchdowns.
Teton's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Sugar-Salem, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Teton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sugar-Salem also has no future games currently scheduled.
