Huntingdon proved they can win big  on Tuesday (they won by ten) and  on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers get on the board and left with  a   1-0  win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  2-0  back in March.
Not much got past  Alivia Nicklow, who gave up just  five  hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Philipsburg-Osceola off the board.
 At the plate, Huntingdon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Julia Foster, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run.

Huntingdon pushed their record up to 12-6 with the  victory, which was their ninth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record  this season.
