 Silas Walker was a  major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 15 batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. He has become a key player for Temple Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  stolen bases, but 2-5 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Robert Thacker was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases and three  runs. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April of 2024.
