Pierson GOODMAN posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Coming up, GOODMAN and Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association will square off against Trinity Episcopal at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 59 places lower in Virginia), but they're not letting that get them down.
