The Bishop Snyder Cardinals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 68-38 loss at the hands of Sagemont. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bishop Snyder has scored all season.
Patrick Liburd was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds for Sagemont. That makes it three consecutive games in which Liburd has scored at least 25% of Sagemont's points. Another player making a difference was Kevin Thomas , who scored 13 points.
Bishop Snyder's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sagemont, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Bishop Snyder will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Impact Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Impact Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Saturday. Sagemont and Calvary Christian Academy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Calvary Christian Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
