The Treasure Coast Titans waltzed into Tuesday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. They snuck past Sebastian River with a 38-32 win. That's two games straight that Treasure Coast has won by exactly six points.
Treasure Coast found their leader in underclassman Reniah Flynn, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Flynn has scored at least 25% of Treasure Coast's points. Jade Ware was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 6 steals.
Sebastian River's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samiya Adams, who scored 11 points. Adams is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayda Pickard, who scored 5 points along with 6 steals.
Treasure Coast's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sebastian River, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Treasure Coast won't have much time to rest: their next game is against John Carroll Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on December 6th. John Carroll Catholic's defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so Treasure Coast's offense will have their work cut out for Treasure Coast. As for Sebastian River, they will head out on the road to face off against Space Coast at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
