Brooklyn Steward looked comfortable as she tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Merryville let Shaylee Lott and Brynn Beard run wild. Lott scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4, while Beard scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
