For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Tolleson and Shadow Ridge meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. Tolleson lost 12-1 to Shadow Ridge. The Wolverines' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Tolleson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AMARI LUCAS, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. YADI LIZARRAGA also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Tolleson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Shadow Ridge, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tolleson will square off against Verrado at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shadow Ridge, they will take on West Point at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
