The Wheatland Bulldogs were the 40-33 winner over the Rawlins Outlaws when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Wheatland took a 55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rawlins on Saturday.
Rawlins' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxson Allard, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose Morales, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Wheatland's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Rawlins, they pushed their record up to 5-7 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
