That makes it eight consecutive games in which Nazeer has scored at least a third of College Prep of America's points. Fatima Iqbal was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 23 rebounds.
College Prep of America's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10. As for Universal, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. College Prep of America will take on Unity Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Unity Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 23.4 points per game this season, so College Prep of America's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Universal, they will head out on the road to square off against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
