In what's become a running theme this season, the Pahrump Valley Trojans gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon 55-10 on the road. The win was nothing new for Pahrump Valley as they're now sitting on six straight.
It was another big night for Heaven Cooper, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kailani Martinez, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.
Pahrump Valley pushed their record up to 18-1 with that win, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.73 points. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Pahrump Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face The Meadows School at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. The Meadows School will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Pahrump Valley is ranked seventh). As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, they will play host again and welcome Boulder City, where tip off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Boulder City is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
