The Walnut Ridge Scots can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past West 70-9 on the road. The win was familiar territory for Walnut Ridge who now have five in a row.
Among those leading the charge was Jayana Gore, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Quorion Small was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Walnut Ridge's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for West, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Walnut Ridge will head out on the road to take on Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West, they will be playing at home against Briggs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
