Orange Lutheran extended their winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Makena Cook. Everything went the Lancers' way against the Warren Bears on Friday as they made off with a 32-6 win for which the team can thank Cook, who threw for 146 yards and three touchdowns. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in each of the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.
Orange Lutheran didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Julia Oberholtzer picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Although Warren took the loss, they still got scores from Jocelyn Escobar and Isabella Gonzalez.
