Spring Creek's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Lowry Buckaroos as they made off with a 14-1 victory. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Norman House, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. He has become a key player for Spring Creek: the team is 11-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Zubiria, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Spring Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They are 6-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Spring Creek's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-10. As for Lowry, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Spring Creek beat the Buckaroos by a score of 13-12 later that day.
