Castle's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Bloomington South on Tuesday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Jasper Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Castle has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Jasper, they moved to 11-6 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Castle is set to square off against their familiar foe Evansville Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jasper will face off against rival Evansville North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.5, the Huskies 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
