Castle's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Bloomington South on Tuesday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Jasper Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Castle has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Jasper, they moved to 11-6 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
