The biggest upset of the week belonged to Linden-McKinley, who took down 569th ranked Linden-McKinley, 15-8.
Mifflin moved up to 296 from 335 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Columbus City - North. The Punchers were able to make the jump by beating East 20-13.
Brookhaven's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kevin Greenhow threw for 61 and one touchdown and Leitonn Backus had 43 yards receiving. On the ground David Peoples chipped in 97 yards. Clevis Towns helped Brookhaven's passing attack out by catching one ball for nine yards.
Brookhaven's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bearcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Greenhow has thrown for 748 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Towns has 10 catches for 226 yards. Greenhow also leads the league in rushing with 332 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Bearcats take on Whetstone. Brookhaven's offense has recorded 140 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Braves have permitted only 255 on the year.
A big matchup in Columbus City - North this week will be when the Tigers take on Northland. East is currently in third, while the Vikings are in fifth.
Mifflin extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Lewis Carter's team, 20-13. The win marks fourth in a row for the Gregg Miller's team.
