Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) extended its winning streak to nine games with a 48-0 victory over Archbishop Carroll (Washington, D.C.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Dorian O'Daniel touchdown run in the first quarter, the Falcons led 35-0 at the half.
Our Lady of Good Counsel expanded its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. OLGC scored two times in the third, including once on a
Chris Dawson touchdown run.
The Olney school's most effective player was
Leo Ekwoge. The junior running back ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored 13 touchdowns on the season.
Led by
Kirk Garner, the Falcons went into the matchup giving up only 11.9 points per game.
Our Lady of Good Counsel also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 35-0.
