Tantasqua Regional is 8-1 against the Rams since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Tantasqua Regional Warriors will be playing at home against the Northbridge Rams at 6:30 p.m. Tantasqua Regional is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
On Monday, Tantasqua Regional didn't have too much trouble with the Cougars at home as they won 58-40. Given Tantasqua Regional's advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Cougars are ranked 278th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Northbridge's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of Uxbridge by a score of 49-47.
Tantasqua Regional has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Northbridge, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8.
Tantasqua Regional was able to grind out a solid victory over the Rams in their previous meeting back in January, winning 59-51. Will Tantasqua Regional repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
