Interscholastic League [ILH] I recap Oct. 23, 2012
Punahou extended the longest winning streak in Interscholastic League [ILH] I this week by beating St. Louis, 38-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Buff n' Blue.
Punahou led the league in scoring this week after putting up 38 points on the Crusaders.
Punahou's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Buff n' Blue feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Larry Tuileta has thrown for 1715 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Kanawai Noa has 42 catches for 978 yards. Ryan Tuiasoa leads the league in rushing with 712 yards.
The marquee game in Interscholastic League [ILH] I this week will be the clash between Kale Ane's team and Kamehameha. The Buff n' Blue enters the game ranked second in the state, while the Warriors ranks sixth.
Punahou's Noa is only 22 receiving yards away from breaking 1,000 receiving yards this season as he enters this week's game against the Kamehameha.
