The Turlock Christian Eagles were the 51-44 winner over the Millennium Falcons when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Turlock Christian fell 59-48 to Millennium on Friday. Turlock Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Turlock Christian still got an impressive performance from Raphael Babba, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Babba pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Watson, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Turlock Christian's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-11. As for Millennium, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Turlock Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Elliot Christian at 8:00 p.m. on January 16th. Elliot Christian has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7. As for Millennium, they will head out on the road to face off against Venture Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
