Austin Prep have to be aching after a bruising 6-36 loss to Pope John XXIII on Friday. Austin Prep's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.
The defeat dropped Austin Prep's record to 2-3. Pope John XXIII added further sheen to their flawless record, now 5-0.
Next week Austin Prep take on Cathedral/Cristo Rey at West Roxbury at 7:00 PM. As for Pope John XXIII, they will face off against St. John Paul II. St. John Paul II are cruising in on a five-game winning streak.
